Bordered by Parry Sound, Algonquin Park, Haliburton, Simcoe County and Georgian Bay, District 46 is the geographical gateway to the lakes and granite of the Precambrian shield.
On January 1, 2007 Muskoka became the newest RTO District at the time, and with a new manageable size and enthusiastic and hardworking volunteers has become the District to watch. Vancouver Island, District 47 was next after Muskoka. Vancouver Island has been followed in 2011 by District 48 Leeds - Grenville which is now the newest District as RTO continues to grow with over 65,000 members nationwide.
